Transport wheelchair design
Special Mobility asked Studio Rotor to look at the design of the Mobby, a transport wheelchair for use in airports, medical institutions or amusement parcs.
Biggest challenge of this project was to combine all demands regarding functionality, aesthetics and cost price into one whole.
Through Studio Rotor’s integral approach, we succeeded to develop a new modular transport wheelchair in which all functionality is integrated in the main form in a good-looking and user-friendly manner. Without losing sight of producibility and cost price.
