Examination table engineering

Habru Medical Technology asked Studio Rotor improve the design of a number of their examination tables.

One highly demanded request was that the examination tables could switch between wheels and legs in one movement. Studio Rotor designed such a mechanism that is completely worked away in the frame.

Furthermore, the new design brings down production and assembly costs, by integrating the four different models as much as possible. Gas springs were integrated to make adjustment of back and foot support much easier. And the scissor mechanism is calculated for heavier patients.

Studio Rotor’s involvement: generate ideas, technical detailling, assist in prototype building.
