Designing from a user’s perspective<\/h6>\n

Studio Rotor approaches a public design outside-in. Which means that we first decide on what is needed from a user’s perspective. What is a logical layout of the user interface? What is an ergonomic height for a touchscreen? What functionality should be digital, which should be physical? And in a later stage: how can we arrange the internal components to fit with the desired external layout?<\/p>\n

We believe that great design not only looks good. It should be very easy to use as well. We build many mock-ups and prototypes to test our assumptions. Usability and ergonomics just can’t be experienced in CAD.
